borderquotePicasso was in a park when a woman approached him and asked him to draw a portrait of her. Picasso agreed and quickly sketches her. After handing the sketch to her, she is pleased with the likeness and asks how much she owed to him. Picasso replies: "$5,000."
The woman screamed, "but it took you only five minutes."
"No, madam, it took me all my life," replied Picasso.border

about

James Finger rarely talks in third person, except when speaking to sales people when asking for his size in a particular shoe. Sometimes things get a little on the creepy side past his front door, so he'll ask his neighbors about their recent neighborhood watch endeavors.

When James turned seven, his mother dressed him up in a ridiculous white outfit with confetti-like pastel colors sprinkled on it. James was thoroughly embarrassed by this, as he was also in the second grade at a school where his mom was a second grade teacher.

Just after his eighteenth birthday, James graduated from high school and thought he would still sleep at his parents' house and ride his skateboard around on various objects. This was partially not the case, as James was gently forced to ride his skateboard at a university three hundred miles away. Looking back, James believes this to be a great decision that he was not entirely a part of.

While in college, James began to involve himself more into the areas of graphic design and doodling. Doodling became drawing and then drawing became, "Let's throw some paint in there."

James spends everyday with his wife and most days in front of a computer.

portfolio

portfolioMy experience as a graphic designer has grown through various aspects of the design field, having produced proposals for companies bidding on multimillion-dollar government contracts, nutured web-based marketing tools, and managed printable production processes, while maintaining a portfolio full of freelance opportunities.

Below are some pieces that I have chosen from my larger portfolio, which is currently keeping itself warm on my computer. I am always open to working on new projects and putting ideas into action.

If you like what you see and would like to work together, drop me a line further below.
